地震波引致基礎運動之實用數值解法研究

木研究針對基礎受地震波影響而引致之運動發展一套數值解法,將基礎及其下之彈性半空間之界面分為矩形或方形單元,並對每一單元範圍假設兩向線性之應力函數,對單元內之積分問題經特別處理以獲致可靠數解。使用矩形單元可使界面之區分更為方便,可使界面邊界處之單元較多而無需增加單元數,其結果與用正方形單元之結果相較有甚大之改進·本研究並建議實用時之單元安排原則,本研究之結果已為房屋受地震之意外扭矩研究立下根基。

An efficient numerical procedure is developed for the problem of travelling wave induced foundationmotions. The interface of the foundation and the underneath elastic half space is divided into rectangularor square elements and a bilinear stress shape function is assumed within each element. Specialcare is taken for the integration within each element in the process of discretization. Flexibility in thedeployment of elements is obtained by using the rectangular element. Accuracy is obtained by using moreelements in the edge region of the interface without increasing the overall number of unknowns. Thepresent result is compared with results using square elements with constant or bilinear stress assumptions.It is found that the present approach produces a much improved result. Efficient element mesh configura-tion is recommended for practical applications. The present work lays the foundation for a realistic studyof accidental torsion of buildings under seismic excitation.
