- 英文摘要: This research presents an analysis of the gas stripping policy in ethanol fermentation using a batch reactor. The optimal policy is a bang-bang control. The criterion for the control policy comes from the parameter developed in this study. We provide numerical examples using this parameter. However, the fermentation time pertaining to the total product yield always decreases with an increase in the stripping factor. This study includes simulated experiments on the stripping of an ethanol-water system by air in a cylindrical vessel connected to a condenser for ethanol recovery. We discuss the stripping characteristics, the stripping factor, Henry's law constant at 35, 50 and 60.degree.C and the concentrations of ethanol in the stripping phase condensate and in the broth remaining in the solution. Results indicate that the concentration of ethanol recovered from the condenser in the stripping phase is two to three times higher than the concentration charged into the vessel. This result suggests an economical method of product enrichment in the ethanol fermentation.
