鋰離子對貓脈胳叢運送鈉之作用

有關鋰鹽影響鈉在腦脊髓液運送之機轉迄今未詳。本實驗以部份分離脈胳叢之模式,探討當改變血液與腦脊髓液中之
鋰離子濃度時,對放射性鈉由血液進到腦脊髓液之影響。
結果顯示當由靜脈以一定速率連續灌注 NaCl溶掖後約90分鐘, Na在腦脊髓液與血漿之比值大於1,且在其後2.5
小時仍維持此值。如以含鋰離子(1.5mEq/ )或高鉀(6.6mEq/ )之人工腦脊髓液50 加到腦室中,則 Na在腦脊髓液
中之總量顯著增加,但當加入苦毒毛旋花子?(10-3m)時,則明顯地抑制鋰離子或高鉀之促進 Na由血液進入腦脊髓液
之速率,同時減少腦脊髓液之分泌約26%。然而 Na由血液進入腦脊髓液之速率並不受血中鋰離子濃度之改變所影響。
由以上結果說明鋰離子增加 Na由血液進入腦脊髓液之可能機轉,為鋰離子如同鉀離子能興奮脈胳叢之鈉唧筒(Sod.
pump)所致。

The mechanisms underlying the effect of lithium on sodium transport in cerebrospinal fluid (csf) arenot known. The in situ isolated choroid plexus in cats was used to investigate the effect of varying thelithium concentration in plasma and in csf on radioactive sodium transport in csf. The chamber fluid toplasma ratio of Na was greater than unity after a 90 min infusion of NaCl solution. The total amountof Na in the chamber fluid significantly increased when lithium (1.5 mEq/1) or high-potassium (6.6 mEq/1) artificial csf was added to the chamber; ouabain (10 M) significantly inhibited the stimulatory effect oflithium or high-potassium on the rate of Na transport from blood to csf and also reduced the rate of csfsecretion (26%). However, the entry of Na into the chamber was not affected by plasma lithium levelscorresponding to the subtherapeutic to therapeutic levels in man. The results indicated that lithium has thepotassium-like effect of stimulating the sodium pump in the choroid plexus when applied to the csf side butnot the blood side.
