麻風患者調節性T細胞之功能

各型麻風患者之T細胞數減少,N細胞數增多,但除活動性結節型外,尚無統計學意義。活動性結節型麻風患者之抑制性及輔助性T細胞數目,也隨T細胞總數減少而減少,但二者間之相對比率及其在T細胞中所佔之比例,則與正常人無異。活動性結節型麻風患者T細胞對正常淋巴細胞變形反應之抑制力顯著增強,但其對正常B細胞產生免疫球蛋白之能力則影響不大。因此活動性結節型麻風患者抑制性T細胞功能加強,可能是其細胞免疫缺損之主因。

A decrease of T cells and an increase ofN cells were found in all types of leprosy.Except for the active lepromatous type,however, the changes were not statisticallysignificant. Both suppressor T cells andhelper T cells were decreased, but the ratioof these two regulatory T cells and theirproportions in the total T cells were essentiallynormal. The suppressive effect of suppressorT cells on normal lymphocyte transformationwas stronger in active lepromatous leprosythan in normal. The regulatory effects ofleprous T cells on immunoglobulin productionof normal B cells were normal. Therefore, thehypofunction of suppressor T cells may bethe main cause of the impairment of cellularimmunity in active lepromatous leprosy.
