- 中文摘要: 在台灣上空同時使用國科會貴重儀器中心所屬特高頻雷達及高頻電波都卜勒觀測網,可用於觀測在不同型態氣象之對流作用所引發之密度擾動。本文利用位於國立中央大學之觀測網,以觀測並分析由颱風、熱帶及亞熱帶強風暴、梅雨、及冬季毛毛雨等不同氣象型態所引發對流作用在中層大氣及熱層之三維風速、重力波傳播特性以及大氣密度之擾動。此種短期中層及熱層大氣密度之擾動對人造衛星之設計、衛星姿態及軌道控制提供不可或缺之原始資料。
- 英文摘要: The VHF radar and HF Doppler sounder located at the subtropical and low latitude observing siteof Taiwan, Republic of China, has been used to (a) make a simultaneous observation for atmosphericparameters from the troposphere, to the middle atmosphere, and then to the thermosphere; (b) observeatmospheric perturbations induced by the convective motions associated with various weather patterns;and (c) observe weather patterns chosen in this study including typhoons, tropical storms, subtropicalheavy rainfalls, wintertime drizzles, etc. For observations at mesospheric heights, time dependent windvelocities with three-dimensional profiles were detected in the backscattered power, radial velocities andDoppler spectral width. For observations at thermospheric heights, time-dependent phase path changeof high frequency radio wave reflected from ionospheric heights was used to measure Doppler frequencyvariation of gravity wave parameters. The density perturbations caused by the propagation of the gravitywaves due to the convective motions associated with various weather patterns were calculated from theVHF radar and HF Doppler sounder observations simultaneously. These short-term middle atmosphericand thermospheric density changes are key elements needed for space vehicle design together with stabilityand attitude control of spacecraft operation.
