- 中文摘要: Portal blood inflow was increased by expansion of total blood volume or byconstruction of a reverse Eck fistula which is consisted of side-to-side portacavalshunt and ligation of the inferior vena cava above the shunt. On expansion of total blood volume pressures in both portal vein and superiorvena cava were elevated but returned to pre-infusion level within 2 hours afterinfusion. During the period of one hour after infusion, the relationship betweenthe portal pressure and total blood volume has been found to be linear, that is,for every 300 ml. of increase in total blood volume there was an increase of portalpressure about 2.0 cmH 0. Studies on the dogs with reverse Eck fistula with duration of longer than 2months and up to 15 months indicated that the portal pressures were elevated morethan 10 cmH O and up to 22.5 cmH 0 in some dog with only one exception in dogNo. 4. The hepatic blood flow measured with I Rose Bengal blood disappearancemethod revealed variable values in these dogs but the calculated portal vein resistancewere all markedly increased. Although the portal pressure was elevated by reverseEck fistula as high as that seen in clinical portal hypertension and yet no esophagealvarices or splenomegaly were found in any dog.
