稻細?為害水稻及其傳播途徑之研究

稻細?(Steneotarsonentus spinki Smiley)除寄生於水稻之葉鞘及穀粒內部吸食水稻汁液與
取食胚乳外,並能傳播真菌類病原菌,誘發水稻病害,故稻細?應是本省水稻不稔症之主因。
玆將本研究所獲得之結果,摘要列舉於下:
1. 水稻栽培相複雜,是臺南縣官田鄉稻細?猖獗之主要因素。
2. 稻細?可藉風力傳播。
3. 未發現有效之防治藥劑。
4. 稻細?是本省二期作水稻減產之重要原因之一。
5. 土壤及灌溉水中未發現稻細?。
6. 蜜蜂、黑尾葉蟬、褐飛蝨等之蟲體上未發現稻細?。
7. 再生稻及稻樁,是水稻收割後稻細?主耍寄生場所。
8. 至目前為止,除牛筋草外尚未發現其它寄主。

A large amount of tarsonemids (Steneotar-sonemus spinki Smiley) were found in the in-ternal surface of leaves and husks of rice duringthe second crop in southern Taiwan. Besidesfeeding on rice plant juice, tarsonemids alsoserve as a vector of sheath rot disease (Acrocy-lindrium oryzae Sawada) and other fungus di-seases. Statistically, Steneotarsonemus spinki issupposed to be one of most important factorswhich causes sterility and partial fertility inrice. The tarsonemid outbreak might be attributedto a very sophisticated rice flora. The mites might be spread by the wind. Chemicals seem ineffective in controllingthis mite. There were no soil-borne or water-bornetransfer of tarsonemids. No tarsonemid was found as a phoresy onbees. The stubbles and ratoon rices were consi-dered as a major host after the rice was har-vested.
