- 中文摘要: Two methods of partitioning are proposed in this paper to analyze the gridworksin order to enhance the ability of the computers in handling problems in structuresof that kind. By the first method, a grid is considered as a chain with the parti-tioned structural portions as its links. Each portion is actually a minor grid consistingof a number of members. The process of analysis is carried on through a roundtrip. Along the forward path from the first portion to the last, all preparatorycalculations are performed; and on the backward route, all joint displacements,member end actions, and reactions from supports are obtained. With the secondmethod, a grid is supposed as composed of a stem and some branches in differentdirections. The stem and branches are also portions of the whole structure.Following the way similar to that adopted in the first method, a shorter journey,branches-stem-branches, will be satisfactory to attain the goal of analysis. Gener-ally, the first method is preferable for long and narrow gridworks, while the secondmethod, for those with nearly equal extension in every direction. The computerprograms for the two methods are given in the appendices. And two illustrativeproblems are worked out by use of those programs.
