- 英文摘要: With the intent of highlighting the strength of analytical analysis in low speed fractional horsepowerdevices, the authors present a study of a quasi linear synchronous motor used as a wheelchair drive. Themethod of analysis and the development of the controls for the motor are quite general in their applicabili-ty. The analytical field computation capitalizes on the extraction of key spatial and constitutive informa-tion in the design. Functionals containing the embodiment of this information are used to suggest optimalfuture designs based on the given power supply constraints. These constraints limit to some extent theefficiency that one might wish to have in the performance criteria. Simple and efficient means of realizingtorque and speed control are discussed. Comparisons between the analytical predictions and actual motordata are presented; these comparisons support the viability of the technique fostered in this paper.
