- 中文摘要: 本實驗以部份分離脈胳叢之技術探討在正常與改變血中色氨基酸濃度時,色氨基酸在腦脊髓液與血液分佈之情形。結果顯示,在正常情況下色氨基酸在腦脊髓液濃度約為正常血漿濃度的五分之一。另色氨基酸在血中大部份與血漿蛋白結合,只有23%是游離狀態。色氨基酸不易通過血腦屏壁及迅速被腦組織所代謝之假說,在本實驗中並不能說明其維持色氨基酸在血中與腦脊髓液間濃度差之機轉。結果指出游離色氨基酸在腦脊髓與血液之實際濃度差要比其總色氨基酸在兩種液體間之濃度差小,且擴散方式為維持色氨基酸在腦脊髓液與血液間分佈之主要機轉。
- 英文摘要: The role of the choroid plexus in regulation of L-tryptophan concentration in cerebrospinal fluidwith and without an alteration of plasma levels of tryptophan was studied in cats. The endogenous trypt-ophan in cerebrospinal fluid is about one fifth of the normal plasma levels. A large proportion oftryptophan in cat plasma is protein bound (77%) and the unbound diffusible tryptophan equilibrateswith that in the cat CSF. The restriction of tryptophan entry into CSF and the rapid metabolism oftryptophan by brain tissues do not contribute substantially to maintain the low levels of tryptophan inCSF. The results indicate that the actual concentration gradient of free tryptophan is much less thanthat of the total tryptophan between CSF and plasma.
