• 中文摘要： 本研究之目的乃在比較及分析由不同方法所製備的陰道鞭毛蟲抗原，是否能對小白鼠引起免疫抑制作用。十九組114隻的BALB/c小白鼠先以不同的陰道鞭毛蟲抗原作腹腔注射，再以綿羊紅血球免疫，經不同時間後抽血並對血清作血球凝集效價之測定比較小白鼠之抗體反應受陰道鞭毛蟲抗原所抑制之程度。所注射的抗原共分三種，一是活體抗原（LTV），其次是蟲體排泄及分泌物抗原（ESP），第三是以冰凍解凍法製備之抗原（FTA）。結果顯示FTA在三者中具有最強之免疫抑制作用，而此作用能持續達21天，若抗原在以綿羊紅血球免疫之後才給予小白鼠，則不能引起任何抑制效果。
• 英文摘要： The occurrence of immunosuppression in mice inoculated with antigens prepared from Trichomonasvaginalis was investigated in this study. One hundred and fourteen BALB/c mice with half of each sexwere divided into 19 groups and inoculated with different antigen preparations before or after sheep redblood cell (Srbc) immunization. Antigen preparations included live T. vaginalis (LTV), excretory andsecretory products (ESP), and freeze and thaw antigens (FTA). The immunosuppressive effects of theseT. vaginalis-derived antigens were demonstrated by the decrease of hemagglutination titers to Srbc. Resultsindicated that all three antigen preparations exhibited immunodepressive potentials in the primary andsecondary responses to Srbc. Among them, FTA showed the highest inhibitory effect. The duration of theeffect persisted for 21 days. The immunosuppressive effect was not observed for antigens which were givenafter Srbc injection.
