- 中文摘要: 近十多年來,國內外幼教理論相繼引進國內,都強調兒童的主動性及獨特性,以豐富、多元之環境及引導方式讓兒童依其需要與興趣自由選擇、負責自己的學習,國內的幼教界因而興起了開放教育的熱潮。本研究以自編之「開放式教育執行程度觀察量表」、晤談、及教師自評來探討下列問題:國內實施開放式教育的幼稚園、托兒所是否確實執行開放式教育的課程與教學?目前執行開放式教育的幼教師對開放式教育的理念如何?理念會不會影響課程的執行?幼教師的理念與實施狀況會不會影響他們對此教育模式在國內推行的看法?研究對象包括臺北縣市九所目前實施開放式教育之幼稚園與托兒所。研究結果發現:(1)表示實施開放式教育的園所教師實際執行的教學並未完全符合開放式教育,不僅各園教師執行的開放式教育在程度上及重點上有所不同,教師自覺之教學行為也與實際之教學行為有所出入。(2)開放式教育中有關依幼兒興趣設計彈性、統整的經驗課程(課程設計)與提供開放、師生互動的班級氣氛(班級經營)兩部分較不易執行。(3)教師對開放式教育的瞭解關係著實際的教學行為,而理念與教學狀況還影響著教師對開放式教育是否適合在國內實施的看法。(4)園方實施開放式教育的決策模式與實踐過程也是影響教師理念與教學的重要因素。
- 英文摘要: Although open education has become a fad in Taiwan, few studies attempted to investigate how it was imple-mented in Taiwan or to verify its effects on Taiwanese children. Taking the perspective of curriculum evaluation, thisstudy investigates three different dimensions of open education: ideal, perceived, and implemented curricula, and ex-plores the inter-relations among them. An observational scale is specially developed for this purpose. Results indicatethat kindergartens that claimed to be open did not necessarily implement open education to its full extent, and their de-grees of implementation were related to the teachers' perceptions of open education. Among all, designing a flexiblecurriculum tailored to children's interests and maintaining a democratic teacher-child relationship were the two least im-plemented components. In addition, teachers' perceptions and actual implementation of open education were, in turn,related to their attitudes toward the wide application of open educaiton in Taiwan.
