- 中文摘要: 本研究旨在探討製備具長期耐候性的垃圾焚化飛灰固化體之可行性。二個來源不同的垃圾焚化飛灰經檢測證實為有害廢棄物,乃利用水泥固化法加以處理,然後量測固化體之單軸抗壓強度與溶出毒性,並利用凍融試驗與多重毒性溶出試驗檢測其抵抗物理與化學風化之能力,並針對結果加以統計分析。實驗結果顯示,本研究所製備的垃圾焚化飛灰固化體皆具有令人滿意的長期耐候性,其固化配比則以品管控制圖的方式呈現。
- 英文摘要: In this work, the long-term durability of monoliths solidified from fly ashes of two municipalincineration plants was studied. Generally, municipal incinerator fly ash is hazardous due to its highcontent of leachable heavy metals (e.g., cadmium and lead) and organic pollutants (e.g., dioxins and furans).Therefore, this waste should be properly treated and disposed of. To this end, a cement-based solidificationtechnique was used in this investigation. The fly ash specimens studied were the particulates of air emissionscollected by the electrostatic precipitators and fabric filters of two domestic municipal incinerationplants. The solidification recipes employed followed the L9 orthogonal arrays. Ordinary portlandcement, mixing water, municipal incinerator fly ash, and replacement of cement by water-quenched blastfurnace slag were used as the experimental factors, accompanied by three levels of variation for eachexperimental factor. The solidified monoliths were tested to determine their unconfined compressivestrengths and TCLP leaching toxicity. In addition, they were further subjected to various durability teststo determine their resistance to weathering effects. Chemical durability was evaluated by the MultipleTCLP test whereas physical durability was evaluated using the freezing and thawing test. Experimentalresults have shown that the solidified monoliths prepared to this work, regardless or their sources andformulation recipes, were long-term durable in the physical and chemical sense. Quality-control chartsfor preparation of long-term durable monoliths of solidified municipal incinerator fly ashes are alsopresented in this work.
