本試驗設計了一種簡便的測定土壤氧濃度的裝置,並用以推斷土壤通氣問題。
土壤氧濃度測定裝置分為兩部分:一為細長的土壤氣體採樣管,可以長期埋置土中;一為測氧
計(Beckman model 715 oxygen monitor),其感體之附屬部分稍經改裝,可以測定lcc的氣
體樣品,測定可在田間進行,每次側定約需三分鐘。
以本法測得的土壤氧濃度,對權溉和降雨有敏惑的反應,且與土壤水分張力及玉米莖葉重依次
有極顯著與顯著的相關性,證明此法具有實用上的意義。
結果顯示土壤氧濃度隨土壤水分而改變;在旱季時受權溉水的影響,在雨季時則受雨量的影響
。供試土壤為排水尚佳的砂頁岩仲積壤土,而兩作玉米的生長(一在旱季,一在雨季),皆與土壤
氧濃度有顯著的相關,顯示此類土壤可因通氣改善而增產。由此可以推斷本省一般中質地至細質地
的?積土,除非排水特別良好,可能皆需注意其通氣狀況。迅速排除雨後或灌溉後地面及根層土壤
中過剩的水分,為管理土壤通氣的重要手段。c - 英文摘要: A simple and rapid method is developed for the measurement of soil oxygenconcentration in Situ, The method was used to measure soil oxygen concentrationat 3 depth in a moderately well-drained sandstone and shale alluvial loam for 2crops of corn--one in the dry season, one in the wet season. The apparatus for measuring soil oxygen concentration consists of a polaro-graphic oxygen analyzer and a number of soil air access tubes. The analyzer (Beck-man model 715) is equipped with a gas flow accessory (190709) attached to thesensor. A modification was made to the accessory so that only lcc. of gas sample isrequired. The measured soil oxygen concentration responded sharply to irrigation andrainfall, and related very significantly with soil moisture tension. Significant cor-relations were also found between soil O concentration and yield of cprn. Thesefacts indicate that the method of measuring O concentration is effective. Results indicate that careful management of soil aeration, in all seasons, isnecessary even in a moderately well-drained loam soil for a good yield of corn.This implies that aeration problem may be present in most medium to heavytextured alluvial soils of Taiwan. Rapid removal of excess water on the surface andin the root zone should be the most important measura in aeration management.
