- 英文摘要: The system properties of a catalytic fixed-bed reactor have been investigated have where the exothermic ethylene oxide reaction has taken place. The extremely sensitive phenomena are found. The sustained small changes in the inlet variables, i.e., oxygen concentration or reactant inlet temperature could result in a significantly large change in the profiles of the maximum temperature occurring in the reactor. The phenomenological model of the reactor system was extremely complicated and not suitable for usage in designing control systems. A lumping model technique was thus presented to simplify the phenomenological model. A robust controller was next designed here with the approach of H/sub 2/ and H/sub .inf./ optimization such that the reactor system meets the requirements of internal stability, robust tracking and disturbance rejection. Simulation results of the controlled reactor system under H/sub 2/ and H/sub .inf./ control schemes have exhibited satisfactory capabilities of tracking and disturbance rejection.
