• 中文摘要： 牙科治療中，合成樹脂和金屬合金為最常使用的材料，為提高它們與牙齒硬組織的黏著力，自1962年開始一系列的methyl methacrylate-tri-n-butyl-borane （MMA-TBB）樹脂的研究，先後開發了復形材料的Palakav，齒列矯正直接黏著劑Orthomite與以3% hydroxy naphthoxypropyl methacrylate （HNPM）添加的改良品Orthomite II S，以及預防小窩裂溝齲齒的Enamite。最近，基礎實驗發現5% 4-methacryloxyethyl trimellitate anhydride （4-META）加於MMA中更能改進其與金屬、牙齒硬組織的黏著力。 走查電子顯微鏡可見4-META樹脂浸入琺瑯質長達22μ及象牙質40μ的深度，黏著拉張強度以島津製萬能試驗機測得琺瑯質經65％磷酸處理後為130kg/cm ，象牙質經10％檸檬酸與3％氯化鐵洗淨溶液處理後為190kg/cm 。貴金屬如經500℃熱處理5至10分鐘，可得100kg/cm 以上的強度，特別是含金、銀、鉑、銅的貴金屬應可選用為牙科補綴材料。只經研磨過的非貴金屬合金其與4-META樹脂的黏著強度大於100kg/cm ，若經硝酸氧化處理可增至150-200kg/cm 。 本實驗結果顯示MMA-4-META-TBB樹脂確能改善與牙齒硬組織、金屬合金的黏著強度，因此在臨床上可應用於矯正托架的黏著、斷裂牙齒的修復、牙周治療副木的處置、口腔外科暫時的固定以及牙冠牙矯、活動義齒的補綴，在牙科領域似可成為具有前途的黏著材料。
• 英文摘要： A new adhesive resin containing a reactive monomer, 4-methacryloxyethyl trimellitate anhydride(4-META) was prepared, and its application to hard tooth tissues and metals was studied. Scanning elec-tron microscopy showed that the average length of 4-META resin tags in enamel and dentin was 22μ and40μ respectively. The tensile adhesive strength between 4-META resin and enamel was about 130 kg/cmafter etching with 65% phosphoric acid. Its bond strength to dentin treated with a cleaning solution of10% citric acid and 3% ferric chloride was about 190 kg/cm . In precious alloys heated at 500℃ for 5-10 minutes, a bond strength of more than 100 kg/cm was obtained. The precious alloys containing Au, Ag,Pt and Cu should be selected especially for dental restorations. In polished non-precious alloys, the bondstrength was greater than 100 kg/cm . If non-precious alloys were oxidized with HN0 , the bond strengthincreased to 150-200 kg/cm . The results suggest that the nickel-chromium alloy used in fixed prostho-dontics must be treated chemically before adhesion with 4-META resin, but cobalt-chromium alloy usedin removable partial dentures bonds well with 4-META resin without chemical treatment. In conclusion,MMA-4-META-TBB resin seems to be a promising adhesive material in dentistry.
