選用體重170~190克之Wistar種系雄鼠,本實驗共有四項,每項實驗皆分為二組:一組動物在其腎被膜內接種來自同

其血中泌乳素顯著上升,並持續至第七天實驗終了。第二項實驗:正常鼠自接種後一週時予以斷頭取血,腦下腺移植組血
中泌乳素濃度比對照組呈顯著的增高,但黃體生成素、濾泡刺激素、腎上腺和副生殖器重量在兩組之間並沒有顯著差異,
該結果顯示血中高濃度泌乳素在短暫期間內對副生殖器的重量並沒有顯著的影響。第三項實驗:接種一週後,再分別將兩
組之睪丸摘除,經四週後斷頭,腦下腺移植組之泌乳素和副生殖器重量在統計上較對照組大,而黃體生成素和腎上腺重量

和腎上腺時相對應的副生殖器重相比,則兩者皆顯著降低,此乃顯示其發生萎縮。然腦下腺移植組就其副生殖器萎縮程度

o - 英文摘要: The effect of pituitary homografts on the accessory sex organs and hormonal levels were studied inWistar mature male rats. Grafted rats were further divided into four experiments:(1)rats were bled once daily via a jugularvein cannula for seven days to investigate when serum prolactin began to rise after transplantation. (2)rats were decapitated on the seventh day after transplantation to test whether 7 days were long enough toshow the effect of pituitary grafts on the weight of prostate and seminal vesicles. (3) rats were orchiect-omized or (4) orchiectomized and adrenalectomized on the seventh day after transplantation and thendecapitated 4 weeks later to test a long term action of pituitary grafts and hormonal levels on the accessorysex organs without androgen. Rats grafted with several pieces of muscle were used as controls in eachexperiment. The initial rise in serum prolactin level was observed on the fourth day after pituitary transplanta-tion, and then a higher serum prolactin level was maintained thereafter. Despite the higher prolactinlevel in the pituitary-grafted rat than in the control, no significant differences from the control in theweight of prostates and seminal vesicles and adrenal gland and the concentrations of serum luteinizinghormone (LH) and follicular stimulating hormone (FSH) were measured. This result showed that theweight of accessory sex organs was not affected by a higher serum prolactin within seven days. In theorchiectomized rats with pituitary grafts, the weight of prostates and seminal vesicles and serum prolactinlevels 5 weeks after the grafts were greater than that of controls, but the weight of adrenal gland and serumLH level were not different from the controls, while serum FSH level was lower as compared with controls.In the orchiectomized-adrenalectomized rats with pituitary grafts, the weight of prostate and serum prolactinand LH levels 5 weeks after the grafts were greater than that of the controls, but the weight of seminalvesicles and serum FSH level were not different from the controls. Rats either orchiectomized or orchiectomized-adrenalectomized with pituitary homografts exhibitedsignificantly greater in the weight of accessory sex organs, accompanied by a markedly higher serum prolactinlevel as compared with control groups. However, whether transplanted with pituitary homografts orseveral pieces of muscle, orchiectomized or orchiectomized-adrenalectomized rats showed a marked decre-ment in the weight of accessory sex organs as compared with that of the pertinent intact rats with pituitarygrafts, or several pieces of muscle on the seventh day after transplantation. Although both groups showed amarked atrophy of accessory sex organs, the extent of atrophy was greater in control rats than that ofpituitary-grafted rats. Present results demonstrated that in the mature rats, a higher prolactin did notmaintain the growth of accessory sex organs, but might delay the atrophy of accessory sex organs in a longterm absence of testicular androgen or testicular and adrenal androgens.
