- 中文摘要: 本研究工作在臺灣南部選取了八個泥(頁)岩之露頭,在地表用扇形震測網測定壓力波及剪力波之速度,這些震波速度具 有方向性之變化且被認?與當地之節理有關,經由統計分析,剪力波速度被認?和對含水量敏感之物理性質有很密切關聯, 且本研究工作所獲得之剪力波速度與單軸抗壓?度間之關係之資料和日本大量測定土壤及泥岩後所得之經驗公式相符,因此 也許測定剪力波速度後套入日本經驗公式可預估各種工程性質。
- 英文摘要: The P-wave and S-wave velocities were measured by fan-shape shooting arrangement at the surface of eight outcrops of the mudstones (shales) in Southern Taiwan. The directional variation of the magnitude of these seismic wave velocities are found to be related to the joint system. The magnitude of S-wave velocities are highly correlated to the physical properties sensitive to the water content. The S-wave velocity vs. uniaxial compressive strength data obtained from this research work can be fitted quite well into the empirical equation derived from a large number of ,test work on Japanese soil and mudstone. It may imply that the Japanese empirical equations can be be used to evaluate the engineering properties of the mudstone (shale) of Southern Taiwan by measuring their S-wave velocities.
