落花生簇葉病之菟絲媒介傳染與顯微鏡觀察

本報告首次證實落花生簇葉病可經菟絲(Cuscuta chinensis)媒介傳染而使長春草感染罹病顯現葉化花及典型叢生病徵,其菟絲媒介至長春草發病之潛伏期為48~96天。長春草病株組織切片之Dienes' stain染色並經由光學顯微鏡與反射型螢光顯微鏡觀察結果,分別在病組織篩管細胞顯現專一性藍色反應及清晰之黃色螢光反應,在對照健全組織則無此項反應,此項及應指出病植物之篩管組織中有擬菌質病原之存在。

The peanut witches' broom disease couldbe transmitted from infected peanut to healthyperiwinkle through the plant parasitic dodderCuscuta chinensis Lam., and the infectedperwinkle showed phylloid flowers and typicalwitches' broom symptoms after incubationperiods of 48 to 96 days.The stem sections of infected periwinklewere observed by light microscope and reflec-ting fluorescence microscope. The resultsshowed specific blue staining reaction withDienes' stain in phloem cells, and specificyellow fluorescence in phloem tissues, butgave no reaction in those of healty plants,which indicated the presence or infections ofphloem limited mycoplasma-like orgamismsin the infected plants.
