• 英文摘要： This content analysis study shows that the Chinese-American press, while remaining ideologi-cally partisan with regard to the coverage of Chinese politics, has transcended internal partisanshipto advocate Chinese-American culture and interests as a whole vis-a-vis other ethnic or social groupsin the context of Americanism. The Chinese-American press is also more inclined than the earlyimmigrant press to preserve ethnic diversity.
