- 中文摘要: The present day available prosthetic heart valves are by no means ideal. Theoccurence of thromboembolic complications and therefore, the need for long termanticoagulant therapy after insertion of prosthetic aortic valves could be avoided byusing homograft of heart valves. The present investigation was undertaken to obtain further information on theproblem of valvular homografts by studying step by step collection, preservationand sterilization, trimming of the valve theater, procedure and technical aspect ofinsertion in dogs in the hope that we might apply the information obtained fromthis study to the clinical practice. We assume that Mayo coronary perfusion pump apparatus could be applied toinstitute 1t. heart partical bypass with a good function when the aorta is beingclamped. No external hypothermia is needed to combat ischemic catastrophes andcerebral vascular accident. Although, we have not overcome as yet the technicaldifficulties in trimming and implantation of the graft the encouraging clinical resultsusing homografts and heterografts currently reported by others justifies continuanceof this study. We should continue to undertake aortic homograft in the descending aorta witha simultaneous creation of aortic insufficiency of the original valve and subcoronaryinsertion of the aortic homograft in the future.
