媒 - 英文摘要: In the preparation of furfural by treating the pith with steamvapor, it is foundthat the reaction temperature is the first important factor. The reaction time is thesecond, and the pressure the least factor which effects the rate of conversion. Byusing the regression analysis of statistics to search the relation of the reactionvariables with the conversion we can obtain a mathematic model as follows. y=47.54+2.41x1+0.01x2+1.36x3一0.86x1xz一0.52x2x3一1.21x3x1.where, y=conversion; x1=temperature; x2=pressure; and x3=time. If we treat the residue of the reaction by the same process we can also convertpartially the unreacted raw materials to furfural and increase the total yield.
