臺灣不同地區稻殼中砷含量之調查

自全省86個鄉鎮採集64年度第一期及第二期稻穀樣品計328個,經化驗結果顯示平均95%以上之樣品均含有砷。第二期穀粒中之平均含砷量較第一期者高。同期作中其平均含砷量及超過估計容許量之稻穀樣品百分比,以蓬萊稻最高,在來稻次之,秈稻最少。脫殼後分析糙米,發現糙米中含砷量大都較穀粒者為低,但仍有13個樣品超過估計之容許量,約佔全部稻穀樣品之4%;含砷超過標準量之糙米,其白米含砷量仍超過標準者有4個樣品,約佔全部稻穀樣品之1%。 含砷較高(> 0.76 ppm)之稻穀樣品,地區上之分佈並不集中;86個鄉鎮中,有34個鄉鎮發現有較高含砷量之穀粒。

The analyses of rice grain samples collectedfrom 86 townships in Taiwan during 1975revealed that about 95% samples containeddetectable amount of arsenic. The arseniclevels in the grains of second crop rice werehigher than that in the first crop rice. In thesame crop, the number of samples with arseniccontent exceeding the estimated tolerance foundin different rice variety were in the followingorder:Ponlai rice>Native rice>Sen rice. The analyses of arsenic levels of unpolishedrice and polished rice, the arsenic content wasfound only 4% and 1%, respectively, in excessof the estimated tolerance among total ricegrains samples. The township in which rice grains sampleswith high arsenic levels (>0.76ppm) weregeographically widely distributed. Among 86townships, 34 of them in which samples withhigh arsenic levels were found.
