- 英文摘要: The locus ceruleus (LC) contains a high density of angio-tensin II (AII) receptors. The role of All receptors at the LCin genetic hypertension and organ function is unclear.Spontaneously hypertensive (SHR) rats and Wistar-Kyo-to (WKY) rats were studied, and blood pressure of ani-mals was measured using the tail-cuff method. Animalswere decapitated and the heart weight (HW) and testicu-lar weight (TW) of animals measured. All receptor bind-ing was carried out by incubating the LC tissue sectionswith 200 pM [ I]-All receptor ligand, and measuredusing quantitative autoradiography. Results showed thatthe HW/BW ratio was significantly higher in SHR ratsthan WKY rats. However, the TW/BW ratio was higher inSHR rats than WKY rats only at two hypertensive stages, whereas All receptor binding capacity in the LC was alsostatistically higher in SHR rats than WKY rats. Resultsindicated that cardiac and testicular hypertrophies wererelated to higher All receptor binding in the LC of SHRrats, when compared with WKY rats. Interestingly, theliterature shows that there is an LC-testes axis. In conclu-sion, this study indicated that All receptors in the LC areassociated with genetic hypertension, and testicularweight could be a reasonable index for essential hyper-tension.
