Greenish yellow Pr(C9H6NO)4．H2O has been prepared in the same manner as the 8-hydroxyquinolinate of quadripositive neodymium(1). The quadrivalence of praseodymium has been confirmed bromometrically, 15 bromine atoms being needed to brominate one molecule of the substance.
Yellow Pr(C9H6NO)3．H2O has also been prepared by the addition of alcoholic solution of 8-hydroxyquinoline to a dilute aqueous solution of Pr(NO3)6 and bromometrically tested. - 英文摘要： --
