竹編層樹脂處理壓縮板之研製

以臺灣省南投縣境內生產之麻竹為原料,劈成竹篾,依試驗之需編成1/1及2/2編法的竹編層,在氣乾之狀態下(平均含水率10.5%),浸漬於濃度65%及55%之醇溶性酚甲醛樹脂膠合劑中30分鐘,取出涼乾後,置於電熱式乾燥箱中,以 70°C 的溫度乾燥14小時,再裝入塑膠袋中封閉冷卻之。此等經樹脂處理之竹編層8張做同方向之層疊組合後,進行熱壓,熱壓時間均以10分鐘為限,熱壓過程中之第二及第四分鐘各有1分鐘之減壓時間,熱壓溫度設定150、170及190°C三種,所施壓力亦分為75、100及125kg/三種,且依試驗項目做適當的調整。本試驗分成兩個單元進行:1.竹編層之編法(1/1)及(2/2)對製板材質的影響。2.熱壓溫度對製板材質的影響。茲將試驗結果列舉如下: (1) 1/1編法以150°C的溫度熱壓時,不論膠合劑濃度之高低及所施壓力之大小,熱壓10分鐘時,板厚中心部位均能達到膠合劑的硬化溫度(150°C)。 (2) 2/2編法之製板,在相同的膠台劑濃度及壓力之條件下,吸水量及吸水厚度膨脹率均小於1/1編法者,且破壞係數、比強度、比例限度應力及彈性係數均優於1/1編法之製板。破壞強度最大的前三種製板條件及破壞係數為:2/2編法,浸漬膠合劑濃度55%,所施壓力100kg/者居首位(破壞係數983kg/),75kg/者居次(885kg/),125kg/者又次之(864kg/)。故用2/2編法的竹編層來製造壓縮板較1/1編法者有利。 (3) 2/2編法的竹編層為原料之製板,熱壓溫度對製板材質有顯著的影響,即在相同壓力下,吸水量及吸水厚度膨脹率均因熱壓溫度之增加而增大;但密度、含水率、破壞係數、比強度、比例限度應力及彈性係數均因熱壓溫度之增高而減小。故以 2/2 編法的竹編層為原料,浸漬膠合劑濃度55%,熱壓溫度150°C,在75~125kg/壓力範圍內,其製板材質在本試驗中均較其他製板條件為佳。

Two diffdrent types of bamboo compregsof 1/1 and 2/2 weaving pattern mats wereevaluated in this study to determine theoptimum manufacturing conditions. The matswere first treated with alcohol soluble phenolicresin for 30 minutes and dried jn oven at 70°Cfor 14 hours then moved out and let cool inPE bags. Eight pieces of mats thus treatedwere hot-pressed for 10 minutes at threedifferent temperature 150, 170 and 190°C andpressure 75, 100 and 125 kg/. The effetcs of different weaving patternsand hot pressing tempratures on the propertiesof bamboo compregs were studied. The resultsare summarized below: (1)The curing temperature at center ofthe bamboo compreg made of 1/1 woven matsreached easily at 150°C in ten minutes, nomatter what resin content and pressingpressure were chosen. (2)The modulus of rupture and elasticity(MOR and MOE), specific strength and stressat proportional limit of 2/2 board were higherthan thus of 1/1 board, while its waterabsorption and thickness swelling were lowerthan 1/1 board. (3)The hot pressing temperature of 2/2board affected remarkedly its properties. Waterabsorption and thickness swelling increased astemperature rose. On the contrary, moisturecontent, modulus of rupture and of elasticity,specific strength and stress at proportionallimit reduced to a certain extent. In short, bamboo woven mats, of the 2/2weaving pattern, treated in alcohol solublephenolic resin with 55% resin content,pressed at temperature 150°C and pressure75~125 kg/ would produced the mostsatisfactory product (bamboo compreg).
