電子貫穿凝體之?究

本文闡述電子在凝體中的遷移參數,包括平均自由行程、能量損失、射程等的理論。其中由價電子激發所得的貢獻, 係以介質的介電函數描述,而內層電子游離的貢獻,則以原子模式來評估。這些參數可供計算輻射的平均激發能量,以及 射程與能量損失的歧離。所有計算結果均將與實驗數據互相比較。

Theoretical descriptions of transport parameters, such as inelastic mean free paths, stopping powers, and ranges, for electrons transmitted through condensed phase media are presented. The contribution from excitations of the valence band electrons is described using the dielectric response theory. The contribution from ionizations of inner shells is evaluated from atomic models. Results are used for calculations of the mean excitation energy and of the range and energy loss stragglings. Comparisons are made with experimental data taken over a wide range of electron energies.
