- 英文摘要: In this paper, the effect of macromixing and micromixing has been discussed with multiple and unique steady states in a CSTR where chemical reaction with the rate expression is r/sub a/=-kCa/(1+KCa)/ sup 2/. The models of macromixing and micromixing, Cholette's model and the simplified Four Environment model were employed in the paper. Our investigation has been on how these different mixing situations affect the multiple steady states in the above-mentioned system. The effect of macromixing not only affects the necessary and sufficient conditions for multiplicity, but makes also the ordinate of Damkohler number of the exact region of multiplicity shift up or down or not change. Above-mentioned phenomena have not appeared in the micromixing case. However, the micromixing case makes the dimensionless input concentration (Xa/sub 0/) reduce to the dimensionless effective input concentration(Xa/sub 0//sup */). This result may change multiple steady states to unique steady state when Da>27 and Xa/sub 0/ falls into the range of .lbrak.Xa/sub 0//sup 1/,Xa/sub 0//sup u/.rbrak. for multiplicity. Similarly the unique steady state may be changed to multiple steady states when Xa/sub 0/>Xa/sub 0//sup u/.
