- 中文摘要: 在混合話音與資訊傳輸網路之設計或實際運作中,?保證免除擁擠阻塞的發生,促進較佳的網路性能以及提供用戶 們較公平的資源共享,則有效的流量管制法是不可或缺的手段。在本文中,吾人詳盡的考慮各類型的流量管制法,其中 包含單階層的簡單式及雙階層的結合式。吾人巳發展出M/M/m/Ni以及M/g/m/Ni之模擬網路列隊模式,藉以獲致多 種重要的網路性能評鑑因素,諸如網路的輸出率、延遲時間、功率、阻?機率、結點?部緩衝區使用率以及穿透率(暢通率)等各項平均?之評估。由模擬實驗的結果中,吾人發現單層的網路外部第一類端點至端點間之流量管制法所得之 功率?各類管制法之冠,且?唯一能免除擁擠的管制法。此種特性不僅存在於混合話音與資訊傳輸網路'在純粹的資訊 網路中評價亦然。
- 英文摘要: In the design and operation of a Mixed Voice and Data Communication Network (MVDNET), an efficient flow control procedure is required to ensure congestion-free, good performance and fair sharing of resource. In this paper, we considered various hierachical flow control procedures. The M/M/mlNi and M/g/m/Ni queuing network simulation models are used to evaluate performance of various flow control procedures. Several measurements of network performance such as average network throughput, network delay, network power, network blocking probability, nodal buffer utilization factor and packet penetrating degree are considered. From the simulation results, we found that the transport level (Type 1 ETE) window flow control policy holds the superlative 'network power' among' all the considered policies, even in the case of pure data communication networks.
