- 中文摘要: This work presents a novel cross-ratio-based technique to improve the performance of perspective transformation in texture mapping without incurring approximation errors. Ordinary precise mapping requires costly division and multiplication operations, while approximate alternatives incorrectly project the perspective. A mapping function based on the invariance of the cross-ratio of four points on a line is adopted. The mapping for each pixel requires only one division, one multiplication, and three addition operations that speed up the mapping process without reducing accuracy. Experimental results indicate that the performance of proposed method is superior to that of other correct mapping methods.
