中子攝影用直準管之設計

本文在說明最近設計完成之發散型中子直準管,此直準管係安裝於清華水池式反應器之W-2
實驗管內,用為中子攝影做非破壞檢驗之用。此項裝置,其L/D比值為120,最大成像直徑為
38公分。照射系統之物理性能,經測定結果如下:成像處之熱中子通率為2.07×10 n/cm2·sec
,過熱中子通率為8.73×10 n/cm2·sec,快中子通率為2.88×10 n/cm2·sec,以及熱中子與伽
瑪射線比值為2.07×10 n/cm2·mR。由中子攝製之影像顯示,經此直準管所攝成之影像,其解
像能力甚佳。

A divergent neutron collimator was designed
for the use of neutron radiography, which was
equipped at the beam port W-2 of Tsing Hua
Open-pool Reactor. The L/D ratio of the setup
is 120 and the maximum area of the image is
38 cm in diameter. The physical properties of
the system were also measured, the thermal
neutron flux at object was found to be 2.07×
×10 n/cm2·sec, the epithermal neutron flux 8.73
×10 n/cm2·sec, the fast neutron flux 2.88×10
n/cm2·sec and the thermal neutron to gamma
ratio 2×10 n∕cm2·mR.
