- 英文摘要:
Population balance model is applied to study the activity profile and
average activity in a constant-flow well-mixed reactor in which the catalysts
experience the independent deactivation and impurity poisoning. Both the resi-
dence time distribution and the population balance of the catalyst pellets are
employed to evaluate the activity distribution in a constant-flow well-mixed reactor
with feed catalysts of uniform activity. The results by using both methods are
found to be the same. However, only the population balance method can handle
the case of feed catalysts with distributed activity. The average activity evaluated
from the population balance equation is compared with that obtained from the
"well-mixed design equation". Those obtained by population balance are believed
to be realistic and reliable. - 中文關鍵字: --
