- 中文摘要: The biosynthesis of a particular simple epoxide, ethyleneoxide α,β-dicarboxylicacid (E. O. D. A.), from a variety of substrates, was investigated in the mold Aspergillusfumigatus NRRL #1986 strain. The stationary culture of the resting mycelia wereincubated for 4 days at 28°C, with a variety of carbon compounds as the solecarbon source. The substrate studies indicate that 2 carbon compounds of ethanol, glyoxal,glyoxylic acid, glycolic acid, oxalic acid, 3 carbon compounds of glycerol, pyruvicacid, malonic acid, 4 carbon compounds of fumaric acid, succinic acid, malic acidand 6 carbon compounds of cis-aconitic acid gave positive response of the form-ation of E. O. D. A. Above all, ethanol and glycerol gave good yields of E. 0. D. A.However, 1 carbon compound of formic acid, 2 carbon compound of acetic acid, 3carbon compound of glyceraldehyde, 4 carbon compound of oxaloacetic acid and 6carbon compounds of citric acid and isocitric acid gave negative response. The results seems to indicate that the formation of E. 0. D. A. is direct additionof molecular oxygen to fumaric acid or succinic acid via glyoxylic acid cycle orT. C. A. cycle.
