- 中文摘要: Persistent satellite hole (SH) spectroscopy has been developed to investigate the vibrations of dye molecules doped in amorphous solids and to examine dye-DNA interactions. The distinct nonresonant holes (NRHs) in the SH spectra allow one to identify the tautomeric structures of dye molecules and to then determine the mechanism of photoinduced reaction. In addition, the appearance of certain NRHs resulting from combination modes are extremely useful for mapping the vibrational energy flow and examining the correlation between the molecular structure and mode activity. Our results suggest that the proton transfer and mode coupling processes are closely related to the charge density redistribution. Furthermore, the high-resolution SH spectrum with free background is very useful for examining chromophore-DNA interactions, specifically the modes of chromophores binding to the DNA and their conformational structures. The change of SH spectra resulting from DNA interaction reveals that use of the high sensitivity of the SH spectra to the DNA base composition is a very promising method to examine chromophore-DNA interactions.
