In an earlier communication1’2 we described the preparation of eupa-
toretin, eupatin and four new 2', 6'-dimethoxyflavone and analogues. In
continuation of the synthetic studies of anti-tumor and anti-thrombotic
flavanoids, four new compounds( 3～6)bearing an unique 2', 6'-dimethoxy-
ring which similar to zapotin3 have,been synthesized as following scheme:
