- 中文摘要: 本研究在探討國內資訊部門的主管與人員,在個人生涯導向與職位配合類型、個人特質與工作態度及壓力之關係。本研究的主要發現是:資訊人員之生涯導向中,有三分之二是屬於管理導向或技術導向。在資訊部門擔任管理性工作者,其個人生涯導向與其職位類型較配合,而對於技術性工作者,則較不配合。個人生涯導向與職位配合類型對個人工作態度與壓力有明顯之差異,但生涯導向對個人工作態度與壓力,則皆未達到顯著差異。此結果更加証實,個人生涯性向與工作性質相配合,能使資訊人員在工作上,有更高之工作滿意度與組織承諾,以及有較低之工作壓力與離職意願。亦即「生涯導向與職位配合類型」遠比「生涯導向類型」對其工作態度與壓力有直接的影響,這對公司人事管理有相當的涵意,人事主管重點在引導員工之職位能與生涯配合,而不是僅關心其生涯導向為何。
- 英文摘要: This study examines the impact of match between career orientation and job position on the workattitudes and stress levels of MIS (Management of Information System) department executives and personnel.Results in this study indicate that two-thirds of the career orientation of MIS department personnel leantoward management and technology. Management personnel in a MIS department enjoy a better matchbetween orientation and job position; whereas, personnel holding technical positions enjoy a lower match. Thematch pattern between individual career orientation and job position reveals a significant difference in workattitude and stress; however, the career orientation itself shows only a slight difference. Results presentedherein further demonstrate that a better match between career orientation and job position enables informa-tion system professionals to enjoy a higher level of satisfaction and organizational commitment. Thus, theyhave a lower work stress level and less desire to leave their organization. Restated, the "match between careerorientation and job position" has a more direct impact on work attitude and stress than "career orientation".Above results appear to be significantly meaningful to personnel management. Based on the results presentedherein, we recommend that the MIS department managers focus on achieving the perfect match betweencareer orientataion and job position, rather than being concerned merely with their career orientation.
