- 英文摘要: Three-dimensional transient flow profiles of spin-up in a fully liquid-filled cylinder from rest withgravity acceleration'at various directions have been numerically simulated and studied. Of particular interestare the development of temporary reverse flow zones and the Ekman layer right after the impulsive startof spin-up from rest, and decay before the flow reaches solid rotation. The relationship of these flowdevelopments and the differences in the Reynolds numbers of the flow and the size selection of grid pointsconcerning the numerical instabilities of flow computations are also discussed. In addition to thegravitational acceleration along the axial direction of a cylindrical container, a series of complicated flowprofiles accompanied by three-dimensional transient flows-with oblique gravitational acceleration has beenstudied.
