以電子顯微鏡探測銀極

本文利用掃描電子顯微鏡探討銀極的電化成形。銀、氧化銀和過氧化銀之顆粒均可個別分辨出。燒結後的銀粒大小 約1?2微米。以銀粉或氧化銀粉製成的銀極在電化成形和實際應用並?有差別。電化成形的第一段氧化銀在銀的顆粒 上均勻的形成,其顆粒小於0.7微米。在此階段電化成形的末了,可以發現微小的顆粒長在氧化銀顆粒上,它們被認為 是過氧化銀的結晶核心。此時突出的電位是由歐姆和活性極所造成的。過氧化銀顆粒由持定的晶格位子開始生長,具鵝 卵石形狀,可以長至10微米。在此電化成形階段,Ag→Ag2O和Ag2O→AgO同時進行。

The sem is utilized to study electroforming processes of sintered silver electrode. Individual particles of Ag, Ag2o and AgO are characterized clearly. The sintered Ag particles have an average size of 1-2μ. There is no observed difference when using Ag or Ag2O powder as sintering material. The Ag2O grains are electroformed uniformly over Ag grains and they grow no larger than 0.7μ At the end of Ag2O electro-forming stage small grains are observed on top of original Ag2O grains. They are believed to be nucleation centers for AgO formation. The potential peak is suggested to be due to a combination of ohmic drop and activation polarizations. The AgO grains start growing on preferential sites and are of flake shape up to 10μ At this stage both Ag→Ag2O and Ag2O→AgO processes proceed simultaneously.
