天竺鼠下視丘腹內側核傳出性神經纖維之分布

著者以成熟的母天竺鼠為材料,用自動放射顯影法來探求下視丘內腹內側核之傳出性神經纖維之分布情形。腹內側核向前投射到前下視丘後分為三方向投射。第一群繼續向前投射經視前區而抵布魯卡氏對角帶。第二群則由視前區轉向外側投射而抵杏仁核。第三群則經前下視丘向前上方投射,經終絲而抵杏仁核。腹內側核同時向上投射經背內側核而抵視丘內之中線核區及室傍核區,並抵外僵核,而且抵達後聯合後方之中心灰質區。腹內側核也向外側投射抵外下視丘,並沿視神經徑上方行而抵杏仁核。至於腹內側核向後方之投射,則經由下視丘的腹側構造。而且也加入內縱束向後方投射,這一投射是經過乳頭核之被束向後投射。部分的纖維可轉向後上方投射而抵中心灰質區,其它的纖維則繼續後行而抵蔡氏腹蓋區及腦幹網狀構造,腹內側核同時也投射到弓狀核及正中結節。

The present study is devoted to tracing the efferents from the ventromedial nucleus (VMN) of thehypothalamus in the guinea pig by autoradiography. The rostral efferent projections of the VMN can beclassified in three different groups. In the first group, ascending fibers project anteriorly to the preopticarea and in the diagonal band of Broca. The second group turns laterally from the preoptic area to theamygdala. The third group passes anterodorsally by passing through the anterior hypothalamic area to thenucleus and tract of the stria terminalis and to the amygdala. At the level of the injection,the VMN pro-jects fibers dorsally to the dorsomedial nucleus, the midline nuclei of the thalamus, the periventricularthalamic nucleus, and the lateral habenula. These projections extend to the central gray matter posteriorto the posterior commissure. The lateral projections can be traced dorsally to the lateral hypothalamusand the zona incerta, and ventrally to the amygdala, by arching over the superaoptic commissure. Caudalprojections of the VMN pass through the pre- and supra-mammillary nuclei via the ventral hypothalamusand certain descending fibers. Some of these fibers turn dorsally toward the central gray matter and jointhe fibers which come from the periventricular fiber system. The remaining descending fibers travel aroundthe capsule of the mammillary nuclei and reach the ventral tegmental area of Tsai and further to the reticu-lar formation of the brain stem. The VMN also has projections to the arcuate nucleus and median eminence.
