• 英文摘要： A method using an available simulation package of rigorous calculation and Fibonacci search is proposed to update the overall column efficiency of an existing column. The column efficiency is considered to be dependent on stage number in this research. The mathematical problem formulated by this method is thus a single variable search of a minimum objective function.
