平均穿透距離僅達75μm。氟素電離透析法5分鐘一次,沉澱顆粒距離平均可達250μm。電離透析5分鐘三次者沉澱顆
粒距離平均深達830μm。因此氟素電離透析法較能在牙本質小管內造成較大之沉澱顆粒,且穿透較深。由本研究建議反
覆實施氟素電離透析法,應可增進牙齒去敏感之效果。 - 英文摘要: Fluoride(F) iontophoresis is preferred over topical application to provide long lasting dentin desensiti-zation. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the changes in dentinal tubules following fluoride ionto-phoresis under SEM observation. Teeth were divided mainly into 3 groups: controls, NaF treated teethwith iontophoresis and those without inotophoresis. A battery operated device was used to apply electriccurrent to teeth. All the teeth were prepared for scanning electron microscopy after treatments. Fluoridetreatment, either non-iontophoretic or iontophoretic, produced granular precipitation in dentinal tubulesand reduced tubular diameter. In 5-minute non-iontophoretic NaF treated teeth, the depth of precipitatepenetration was 75 m on average where the granules were small and sparse. In the 5-minute iontophoreticNaF treated teeth, the average penetration of precipitation reached 250 m in one application whereas inthree applications to teeth the average depth of penetration reached 830 m. Fluoride iontophoresis resultedin obstruction of dentinal tubules. Both the frequency and duration od treatment under constant currentand voltage affected the size of particles, the form of precipitation and the depth of penetration. Largerparticle size and deeper fluoride penetration were observed in iontophoresis treated teeth compared tonon- iontophoresis treated teeth. Therefore, repeated fluoride iontophoresis treatment is suggested to ensurelong lasting densensitization effects.
