• 英文摘要： Design considerations for various operating variables in a cyclic fixed bed ion exchange process were discussed. Mathematical models based on four normalized parameters and linear driving force rate equations were used for simulating the cyclic processes. A numerical example was presented to illustrate how the results of simulation studies could be used for design purpose. The application of computer simulation studies in the design could help reduce the number of preliminary experiments required since a large number of variables are present in the cyclic processes.
