- 英文摘要: Adsorption of metal ions onto oxide surfaces from dilute aqueous solution is highly pH dependent.Most previous rate studies of metal ion adsorption were focused on an operational equilibrium time withoutregard to mass transfer phenomena, the porous nature of the adsorbate or diffusion mechanisms. In thispaper, the effects of external and internal mass transport limitations on zinc adsorption onto porousamorphous aluminum oxide/solution interfaces were studied. A modified two-stage rate model was de-veloped and used to interpret the time dependent experimental results.
