- 中文摘要: 本研究採個案研究法,以ARCS動機模式作為分析之基礎,深入探討一位國小自然科教師在教學上激發學生學習動機所採用的各種動機策略,及學生對老師教學感受的動機策略反應。研究者以文獻探討、教室觀察、對師生的訪談、學生問卷調查、相關文件等方式來蒐集有關教師與學生的資料加以分析,並作為資料三角校正之工具,減少研究發現的偏差,進而提高研究的可信度。研究發現,個案教師所使用的5E學習環教學模式中每個步驟都含有激發學生學習動機的教學策略。並針對ARCS動機模式的四個要素,各分析出五種動機策略可應用於國小自然科教學。
- 英文摘要: The purpose of this case study was to investigate the methods, thinking sources, outcomes, and motivational strategies of a science teacher "Miss Dai". The methods of data collection included the following: observation in the classroom, interviews with teachers (Miss Dai and her colleague Mr. Lin) and students, a student survey, and analysis of other related documents. We used "ARCS (Attention, Relevance, Confidence and Satisfaction) Model of Motivational Design" to analyze the teaching strategies of this science teacher and used the "Instructional Material Motivation Survey" to analyze the outcomes. The research found that Miss Dai taught using 5E learning cycles and there were many motivational strategies in each step of the 5E cycle. The analysis revealed 5 motivational strategies in 4 major categories that could be used in elementary science teaching.
