臺灣各地區水稻田土壤及水中砷含量調查

全省130個土壤樣品及76個水樣品中均含有砷。62年水稻田土樣分析之結果發現不同地區含砷量差異極大,其範圍自 1.3 ppm 至 176.6 ppm 不等;而其平均含砷量在0~12.7 cm 深度之土層中為 8.22 ppm,在 12.725.4 cm 之間者為 14.07 ppm,在 25.4~38.1cm 之間者為18.85 ppm。65年45個鄉鎮調查之結果,顯示土壤含砷量有減少之現象;45個鄉鎮調查之結果,其含砷範圍為 1.28~21.96 ppm,在0~12 cm 深度之土層中其平均含砷量為 7.89 ppm,在12~24cm之間者為 9.90 ppm,在24~36 cm 之間者為 10.53 ppm。 44個鄉鎮水樣品調查之結果,其含砷範圍自 0.10~905.14 ppb 不等。較高之地區為宜蘭、臺南和嘉義。

By analysis of paddy soil samples and watersamples collected from various locations inTaiwan, it was revealed that 100% of samplescontain arsenic. The content of arsenic in thesoil samples which were collected during 1973varied greatly from locations to locations, rangedfrom 1.3ppm to 176.6ppm. Average 8.22ppmwas found in the 0-12.7cm depth of soil,14.07ppm in the 12.7-25.4cm, and 18.85ppmin the 25.4-38.1cm. By analysis of soil samples collected during1976 it was revealed that the amount of arsenicfound in the soil decreased, ranged from 1.28to 21.96ppm. The average of arsenic levels inthe 0-12cm layer of soil was 7.89ppm, in the12-24cm was 9.90ppm, in the 24-36cm was10.53ppm. By analysis of water samples collected from44 townships it was revealed that 100% ofsamples contain arsenic, ranged from 0.10 to905.4ppb. The arsenic levels in the water sam-ples collected from Ilan, Chiayi, and Tainanwere higher than those from other locations.
