- 中文摘要: 近年來,軟性磁碟已漸成為一種相當重要之輔助記憶器。此主要是由於它的價格低廉,且具有直接擷取(Direct Access)之優點,而使得許多小型與微型計算機系統採用它做為小型的大量責料儲存裝置,本報告係研究如何以中Intel 3000系列雙極性可微程式微處理機為主,利用其高速之工作速率,配合一般雜亂邏輯元件,設計一軟性磁碟機之控制器。該控制器介於主計算機之中央處理單位與磁碟機件間,依命令而執行資料的讀寫,傳輸與機件之控制等工作。本報告內容包括雙極性微處理機中央處理單位,主系統與控制器間之介面,外在資料格式器及系統微程式流程等之設計。
- 英文摘要: For the purpose of studying microprocessor applications, a floppy diskcontroller which can control up to eight daisy-chained floppy disk drives isdesigned. The controller bas been designed with Intel's Series 3000 BipolarComputing Elements. The controller is designed to interface with a generalmicrocomputer or minicomputer with DMA (Direct Memory Access) capa-bility. The disk controller records all data in a modified IBM soft-sectoredformat-the record length of a sector is variable depending on the pro-grammer's command when creating a file in a disk operating system usingthe disk controller. The bipolar CPU of the controller is programmed atthe micorinstruction level rather than at the macroinstruction level.
