- 英文摘要: The dynamic thermal response of an immerse-type industrial thermometer could be modelled as that of a composite cylinder. A numerical solution of the partial differential equations which describe the thermal response of an immerse-type thermometer was prevented in this work by applying a linear operator method. The resulting Strum- Liouville problem with discontinuous coefficient functions could be solved effectively by the present method. The advantage of the present method over those of previous investigators was demonstrated to be mathematically simpler and consequently is more convenient in allowing for a systematic evaluation of parameters which affect the performances of the thermometer.
