- 中文摘要: 本研究探討台灣束北海域,黑潮入侵束海陸棚誘發湧升流水域,其間之浮游植物組成、葉綠素a濃度、基礎生產力等,反應海域環境、營養鹽等因子變動之狀況。1992年9月至10月間,湧升流水域浮游植物生物量較高,其最顯著種類為Thalassionema nitzschioides;黑潮水域之浮游植物量低,Trichodesmium spp.比例比其他水域高;陸棚測站則具有較高比例之Skeletonema costatum。基礎生產力以湧升流1.10 g C‧m ‧day 為最高,在陸棚及黑潮水域分別為0.30及0.11 g C‧m ‧day 。湧升流水域新湧升水與成熟之湧升水相較,其浮游植物組成變化頗大,成熟之湧升水域細胞密度較高、種類較多、歧異性係數較大。
- 英文摘要: Changes in phytoplankton population, chlorophyll a concentration and primary productivity werestudied during September 1992 in the upwelling induced by the intrusion of the Kuroshio Current onto thecontinental shelf of the East China Sea, northeast of Taiwan. Observations made at three sampling stationseach representing, respectively, the oceanic regions of the continental shelf, the upwelling and the KuroshioCurrent were compared. The high phytoplankton biomass observed at the upwelling region was dominatedby Thalassionema nitzschioides. The Kuroshio water was characterized by an abundance of Trichodesmiumspp. and the shelf region by Skeletonema costatum. High primary productivity (1.10 g C‧m ‧day ) andchlorophyll a concentration were observed in the upwelling region where nutrient levels were high. Relativelylower primary productivities occurred in the shelf (0.30 g C‧m ‧day ) and the Kuroshio Current (0.11 gC‧m ‧day ) regions. Phytoplankton in aged upwelled water showed a higher cell density, number ofspecies and greater species diversity than did those in the newly upwelled water.
