- 中文摘要: 在臨床病例和動物實驗都有甲狀腺功能過低影響生殖生理的報告。作者和其同事在一序列的動物實驗中發現雌性大白鼠在切除甲狀腺或以藥物使其甲狀腺功能降低之後有:(1)性週期延長,(2)腦下腺中黃體生成素降低,(3)卵巢重減低,(4)黃體數減少等現象。但與前人報告不符者為濾泡刺激素在腦下腺並無降低現象,乃推論此係甲狀腺功能降低之時間長短不同有所揮致。 木實驗乃以一批性週期為穩定四天之同齡雌性大白鼠在同一日將其甲狀腺切除,並在切除後7,14,28,56各日清晨做陰道塗片,經確定為動情前期者;乃於當日上午9^.10時在乙醚輕度麻醉下放血,並立即取出腦下腺,以放射免疫測定其黃體生成素及濾泡刺激素之含量。結果發現黃體生成素於第7日即有迅速下降並維持至56日,濾泡刺激素於第7日有所下降,惟28日後又有接近正常之趨勢,其後再行降低,似有週期性起伏之可能“ 將前各實驗結果和本實驗之結果綜合後推論:(1)生殖控制激素之釋放激素GNRH在甲狀腺切除後可能降低,而導致生殖控制激素之降低;(2)中樞神經系統之缺乏甲狀腺素為釋放激素降低之原因;(3)黃體生成素與瀘泡刺激素在切除甲狀腺後發生不同之結果乃因其對釋放激素GnRH的反應原本不同之故;(4)濾泡刺激素為引起甲狀腺切除後產生動情期之主要激素“
- 英文摘要: Measurements in LH concentration of pituitary glands repeatedly indica-ted that there was a declination after thyroidectomy or induced hypothyroid-ism, but the FSH measurements were not all in agreement The present investi-gation is conducted to understand the reason for this disagreement.Ratsof the same age were thyro-parathyroidectomized (Tx), and radioiodide wereused to confirm,the elimination of the glands.The rats were subjected forproestrusinspection by vaginal smear at 7 14 28 and 50 days:after Tx:‘Rates demonatrated proestrus were sacrificed in the morning between 9 to 10AM through exanguiation from dorsal aorta at those dates·Adenohypophseswere obtained. Radioimmunoassay (RIA) for LH and FSHwere performed for adenohypophyseal tissue extract. Adenohypophyseal LH demonstrated a rapid decrease right after the operation and kept in low level throughout the experimental period while FSH,with a similiar rapid decline right after Tx but dermonstrated a tendeney of recovery and, possibly, succes-sive rhythmic variation. It was proposed that 1)gonadotrophin-releasing hormone(s) (GnRH) decrease is responsible for all the reproductive“ ittalfunetion after TX,2) the thyroid hormone deficiency in CNS could be the reason for GnRH deelination 3) the discrepancy in LH and FSH response- toTx may not caused by Tx but the preset difference in responsiveness of FSH and LH to GnRH stimulation, 4) the FSH may′be responsible for the expected estrus and,possibly, ovulation.
