- 中文摘要: 菸草立枯病(Bacterial wilt)為菸草極重要病害之一,在高溫多濕及多年連作環境下,極有利於病菌之發生蔓延,致本省菸草立枯病為害有逐年嚴重之趨勢,因立枯病為土壤傳染性病害,除育成抗病品種外,目前尚無有效防治法,本研究之主要目的在探明菸草立枯病抗病性之遺傳法則,並作為菸草立枯病抗病育種之依據。 以 Vamfen-Hicks 品種為母本,與抗立枯病品種 Dixie Bright 244 進行雜交而獲得 及 世代,田間採用逢機完全區集設計,重複6次,每區集包括雜交親本及 各1試區, 個試區,每試區2行26株,以菸株莖部接種法(Stem puncture)測定抗病性。Vamfen-Hicks 與抗病品種 Coker 139 及 Oxford 26 兩雜交組合,其親本及 雜種亦經抗病力接種測定。 本研究結果,各雜交世代平均為害指數(Disease index)以抗病品種為最低,Vamfen-Hicks為最高,雜種 及 介於兩親本平均值 與 Vamfen-Hicks 之間, 與 二者無甚差別,其差異顯著性測驗結果詳列於表5。各雜交世代平均為害百分率(Disease percentage)之差異較小,而各世代之差異情形與為害指數一致,證明菸草立枯病抗病性之遺傳為部份隱性數量因子(Partial recessive poly-gene)所支配。
- 英文摘要: The bacterial wilt is a very destructive soil-born disease of tobacco. It is mazordisease in some tobacco area in Taiwan, because the high temperature, relativehumidity, and succession Crop system are very much favorable to this disease. Upto now no satisfactory control method has been found to control this disease exceptto adopt three year crop system. But this system can not be taken in Taiwan.Under this condition breeding for resistant variety is only one feasible way tocontrol it. The purpose of this study is to obtain information on inheritance ofresistance to bacterial wilt for the use of breeding. Vamfen-Hicks and Dixie Bright 244, resistant parent, are used to yield Hybrid and selfed gives generation. The randomized complete block design with6 replications is used in this field experiment. Each block is consisted of 7 plots,there are two rows in each plot, the total is 26 plants, of the 7 plots, 1 is given toeach parent as well , 4 to . For testing the bacterial wilt resistance the stempuncture inoculation was used. The results of this study indicate that the disease index and disease percentageof Dixie Bright 244 are the lowest, Vamfen-Hicks the most susceptible, and and generations between the parental mean and susceptible parent, Vamfen-Hicks.The results of significantly different testing between generation means are show inthe Table 5. Based on these results it could be concluded that the resistance ofbacterial wilt is controled by poly-genes of partial recessive.
